This looks like an attempt to ask a question that no one else has asked. There is a reason no one has asked. The answer is no.

Only a player can be the one to determine when it is time to retire. If he is physically fit and able to run full court why retire. Just because the team they are playing with was eliminated in the playoffs after winning back to back championships and not win the next year does not mean he should retire. There are a lot of good teams in the league and one person can not do it by themself. If he wants to give up and call it quits retire but if he feels he still has something to offer I say go for it keep playing. You have to quit when you are ready otherwise you will always have regret and never feel satisfied about ending a career. Make sure its what you want to do.

stop with the NBA has it out for the Spurs. they have gained 4 titles. The Thunder are what the Spurs have been ten years in the past. They have been given out performed by potential of a better, youthful crew. And as much because it pains me to assert, Pop have been given out coached from the fourth quarter of pastime 2 on. If the NBA fixed the playoffs the Lakers may be waiting for the warmth to conquer the Knicks in pastime seven and the finals featuring Kobe vs. LeBron. as a substitute it must be Oklahoma city information superhighway hosting an starting to be older Boston Celtics with the Miami cleansing soap Operas and Kobe gazing at dwelling house. to your question, it rather is extremely in all probability that Timmy and pa experience into the sundown after the season ends. Duncan's settlement is up, if i'm no longer flawed, and whilst Tim is executed so is Pop. The Spurs ought to truly be carried out with for awhile, and that would suck. Tim can nonetheless supply 18-20 factors and 10 baords a pastime, yet that may no longer sufficient anymore. He won't be in a position to dominate on protection, the gang as an entire does not play Spur protection anymore. Manu is getting greater beat up, and Tony won't be in a position to do it on my own on protection. it may be the top of the Spurs era.

Sorry...I dont think that he will be retiring any time soon. He is still a very dominate player, the top 10 in the NBA easy. Besides the Spurs have to much chance to win a Championship for him to retire now.

no. He's not showing any signs of slowing down just yet. The only thing that was slowing him down this past season was his injury to his foot. But despite that he still had monster games against Dallas even though they were eliminated. He's far away from retirement and look for him to come back next season healthy and ready to take the Spurs right back to the top

What?! No way! Let the guy grow old. He's not even near retirement. Not even losing his skills yet.

Haille, that's dumb, he just turned 30 this year! He's still one of the finest power forwards in the league, extremely consistent, even if he did have an off year this last season.

maybe in 2-4 years. he did great this year. he will eventually get too old and will start to slow down and won't be able to keep up with the rest of the team.
