The Queen of Hearts has a king in Alice in Wonderland...?
The Sultan in Aladdin doesn't?
Mustafa in Lion King does?

Is there an intentional pattern or something?!?!

Maybe they were divorced? lol Well, as said, a kind or queen doesn't have to have a spouse or even one with that label. And some may just be lesser characters or not one they could put any substantial part of the story on so they didn't bother.

There is a queen in Cinderella, just not in the Disney version.
The Queen of Hearts doesn't have a king probably because she is such a b****h. Mustafa does have a queen. Check out the first of "Lion King" on Pride Rock.

Not sure why. I think she died. But the Queen of Hearts does have a King. He was in the book and in the movie. In the Disney movie, he's extremely short. In the book, he's not.

If he had a queen, he wouldn,t be having all those balls, and wouldn't be dancing with all those broads and there woundn;t be a cinderella. end of story.

When there is no queen, it usually mean she died in childbirth or something.

If you can't make a "character" out of it, what's the point in writing one in?

Because we live in a society based on male dominance, and it's really lame story with totally flat characters. Duh!
