I don't know if the test was "astral projection", "remote viewing", or “mind reading” but...
In high school I helped a classmate do an experiment for a bio-psychology class project. I was in a class room in one part of the school while he was off in another unknown room. I had a cheap toy walkie talkie and he had the other.
The first part of the experiment was that for 3 minutes he played some music that he was listening to over the walkie talkie. Then I was given time to “use my mind” and find where he was in the building. Once I “felt” I knew where he was (I was asked not to give the exact location) we moved on to part two.
For the second part we had three sets of five cards, colors, shapes, and numbers. And telling me which set to use he would pull one card out and put it on a steal tray (which I was allowed to see and touch prior to the test), which he took a Polaroid picture of. I was then to “use my mind” and pick the same card and place it on my tray. When I was done a lab assistant took a picture of my tray. We repeated this process so that we had done it 5 times with each set of cards (15 times).
For part three we did the same test but this time the steal trays were magnetized using a super strong electromagnet. We repeated the above process, so that each set of cards was used 5 times.
At the end I had to fill out a questionnaire about my experiences and what it felt like et al.
I felt like I was actually in the room, but I felt that my body was still in the chair (I could feel it pressing into my back). I felt all my weight on my feet as (if) I stood in front of him even though my body was seated in a chair. I noticed that even though he wore glasses to read he had taken them off. Finally I was asked what room he was in.
Without the magnetic field I scored a 53% correct (statistically correct)
With the magnetic field I scored a 77% correct (they called it anomalous)
I was wrong about the glasses.
And I was the only one to pick the correct room. I was in the 3rd floor science room, he was in the art room which is in the same wing but in the basement and at the other end of the hall.

I've tried it before. I can relax my body to the point of getting some really interesting sensations, such as momentarily falling, and couple of times I had this sensation of a sort of spinning and I could feel alot of energy. But my heart would start racing like crazy, and I would get too excited, or worried and afraid, and it would subside. From what I know, getting emotional in any way shuts down the experience (either excitement or fear). I haven't had much time to try it lately, but I've been meaning too.
And to be honest, I don't see why this /can't/ be related to physics. It's only an opinion that it should be label spiritual. It can go either spiritual or scientific. It's just hard to do it well scientifically.

there have been connections between Lucid Dreaming and Waking desires and OBE's and Astral Projection, many people think of that a man or woman merely dreamt a OBE yet there is greater to OBE's and Astral Projection than maximum folk comprehend, Lucid Dreaming may bring about a OBE if the guy doing the dreaming has a disciplined sufficient concepts, see the conscious concepts controls the sub conscious concepts in a Lucid Dream state and once you may administration you sub conscious concepts you're able to do magnificent ingredient with your concepts.

I tried once and when i did it really scared me. My arms lifted up in the air and i had no control over them, like the feeling you get when you are in a dream and can't escape it.
There was a sensation which felt like my skin was peeling from my body which i expect was probably my soul trying to leave my body to do its travelling.
Well i wimped out and got scared so never actually got anywhere!

Yes, sometimes through hypnosis and other times on drugs. It gave me the feeling I was outside my physical body somewhere else in the universe. This is really a metaphysical question not one regarding physics.

had it happen once when I was a teenager, was in a cinema watching a film and then I was up on the ceiling, looking down on myself. Very weird but I was very sober at the time! Never happened again and I'm glad, it scared the s**t out of me!

I suspect that if you could travel out of body consciously and remember, you might meet those from other planets. Now who wouldn't want you to do that! What I do behind my eyelids is my own business.
