how do i connect my VCR to my computer so i can make a DVD out of a VHS? what equipments would i need?

You need a TV Tuner like those of Hauppage, I use Hauppage WinTv Go-Plus. You then plug in the VCR to the TV tune via a Coaxial Cable and then you play the tape and hit record in WinTv 2000. (the program that come with it) Or you can use NeroVisionExpress to capture Video from the TV Tuner, instead of using the WinTV software, by clicking on Capture Video to Hard Drive and then burning it to a DVD using NeroExpress. You would also need a DVD-Burner. You should have one that can burn DVD-R and DVD+R becase most DVD players are compatible with DVD-R.
