Is because the anglos are not good enough to be the stars?

I think that's a rather broad statement. I could find a ton of movies that don't have stars who are Jewish...
But, it's interesting to note that almost all the major Hollywood studios were founded by Jews, such as MGM and Warner Brothers.

I think that their religious backgrounds are irrelevant. They are just good actors and actresses. Adam Sandler would be funny no matter what his religion. Julia Roberts has always been a wonderful actress. I really don't understand why you would believe that their religion would have anything to do with it and it is prejudice questions and comments like yours that keep the world separated with hate for other ethnic backgrounds.
