Buy a sledge hammer and put a sign by the road charging $5 for people to stop and wang the hell out of it. After you've packed away your profits, sell the remains for scrap.... you may even have some money left from that part of it after having it hauled away.
It makes cash for you and gives folks a way to release stress. Win - Win
(PS - If you do this, I get a 10% cut, right? ;)

Get it running on the cheap. Even if you only drive it a couple of times a month to haul garbage, having a cheap pickup truck around -- especially a rusty, crappy one -- is terrific.
If you need a new engine or transmission, or something else expensive, don't bother.

4 ideas for you.
Part it out and sell it on eBay!
Make an off-roader with it.
Drop in a 454 and hit the drag strip!
If it's a diesel, find a running engine and convert it to biodiesel.

Drain all the fluids out of it.Pressure wash the oil and grease from the motor,driveline,rear end. Roll down the windows,and push it into the lake.It will make a nice Bass bed and become a favorite fishing hole.

If the body is in very good shape, it may be a good project truck. Under normal conditions, however, your best bet would be to junk it!
A running truck with under 100k miles on it sold at a dealer auction several weeks ago for $400. This is a good benchmark for you to use to help you decide what to do with yours.

Scrap it or strip it down and sell the parts via ebay. You can make more money that way than you could scrapping or selling it whole! Or sell it to a destruction derby/Race circuit!

A nice small block would do the trick. But if you are one of those types that can't think for himself, I would go with Vulcan on this, re-tire it ( pun intended ) and mucho flowers!
