Yeah if you go to school, there is no other way, you have to go to school in order to get the degree. Because you have to learn alot about the anatomy of every single species of animals, it will be hard, but it will be worth it. I say go for it. My sister is a vet asst. and she has a fun time, but she does not make a lot.Being a doctor is not for everyone, but if you dont mind the constant testing then you should be ok.

Only if you take college to be a veterinarian. Training for vet assistant is not the same. That would be like a nurse expecting to become a doctor. The nurse would have gone through school to become a nurse, but it is not the same schooling and training that a doctor has.

Sure, if you go back to vet school. I don't think it shortens the amount of time or money you invest in becoming a veterinarian.

You can still become a vet, my cousin started out as an assisstant then toook classes and became a regular vet.
