I have two jobs. My most important job is mother and home educator to five marvelous children. If you'd asked me when I was 18 if this was going to be my life plan, my answer would have been %@##!& NO!!!! But it truly is the most rewarding career I've had. It only pays in hugs and kisses, but I'll take it. Actually, I figure if we had to pay for private school for each of them, it would be a MINIMUM of $6000/year/child, so that is $30,000 we save.
My second job, which I also love, or I wouldn't do it is making money blogging and through various other web sites. I think people who work for themselves are generally the happiest with their jobs. This year I'll probably make around $6,000 blogging, but I only work when I want to. I've got a brand new project with a wiki that I think may be quite profitable in the next six months.

I have a job that is my passion and love. I teach dyslexic children to read. My classes are 2 to 1 which works better than larger classes. It is labor intensive but there is nothing greater than seeing a child, who didn't believe that he/she could ever learn to read, experience success. As with most teaching positions, the pay isn't great, $40,400, after 4 years but the fringe benefits are great.

I LOVE my job. I am a certified animal massage therapist. I work for myself, set my own schedule, make great $$$, and alleviate suffering in animals. Who could ask for more than that?
I used to be trapped in a cube 50-60 hours a week, struggling paycheck to paycheck. I was miserable. If I work 6-10 hours a week (depending on what type of animals I am working on) I make as much as I used to at my old job. Anything more than that and I am ahead.

i have enjoyed just about every position i have ever held and not bragging but i think it is because i gave one hundred percent. it is not just about money. i know people who make six digits and hate what they do... they are literally miserable. i know others.. that dont make a lot..but the rewards... come when goals..are set... accomplishments are made..or others are helped. people are quitting big paying jobs in droves...and farming..ranching.. flower shops.. whatever.. and they are happy... so go with what makes you happy .
