The problem is, there are only a handful of people that work there. It's a little store on the lake. I had only worked four days, then the owner said "I didn't fit in well with his staff". He claims that everyone has threatened to quit if I work there. Mind you, I have only worked with two people and only worked with one of them once .The one I worked with once, quit a couple days later and blamed everyone for the reasons she quit. The girl I worked with had nothing but nice things to say about me.
Now, the one that quit wants to come back because she went through her "Big Settlement". Guess who loses their job? That's right, ME.
And she is the one that recommended that I apply for a job there, said she was quiting because she didn't need the peice of crap job because of the "Big Settlement". Now the money is gone and she needs her job back.
What do think I should do???? Sorry so long.

Honey, What happened to you wasn't fair at ALL. But right now you need to get up, dust yourself up, and start looking for another job. Prepare your resume, search the Internet, classifieds and want ads, and apply like crazy.

Since you only worked there 4 days at least you didn't have a lot invested in the job. Maybe it was just a personality conflict, but there is nothing you can do about it. Find another job and forget this one.

Get another job, instead of asking questions on here. Wow, you worked a whole four days, congrats. You should not be upset about losing a lousy job you only had for 4 days. You are wasting valuable time playing on the computer.

1. Do not, do not take it personal.
2. Try to come away from this experience with something positive.
3. Know that all managers are not created equal. People are not born managers. There are good managers AND bad managers.
4. Do not make this a feelings issue. This is a intellectual issue. There are no feelings allowed. You can ask yourself what you can do better next time. And grow from it. Cut your losses.

find another job
maybe think about if you might maybe possibly be too much personality for some folks... maybe tone it back a little bit at first.
