He still has the record for the longest title run in WWE history.
Holding the belt twice from the late 60's into the late 70's he held the title combined almost 10 plus years

Yeah he was one of the best old wrestlers. The only reason he isn't in the WWF/E Hall of Fame is because he REFUSES to join. He doesn't like what Vince Jr. has done to wrestling in making it about sex instead of wrestling.
