Superstition says that the left side is the wrong side of the bed.Whys that?

Bathroom Master is right. Anything "left" is considered evil or bad because the word left comes from the word "sinister" in Latin.
Sinister = left
Dexter = right

Most things left are regarded as bad, including being left handed, the word sinister also means left in ancient Greek or Latin or something lol. It's used alot in StereoChemistry, Rectus and Sinister, can't rememebr what language it comes from tho, sorry! And thats why sinister means bad in modern English. Don't actually know if this is why the left side of the bed is bad, but it's an interesting fact. And also I can't think of anyone I know who has one side of thier bed up against a wall that the side on the wall is left...smacking you head into the wall would be bad!

Its to do with evil, good is on the right hand. Its is to do with the angels that are meant to record your deeds, the good deeds recorded by the angel on your left side and the bad by the angel on your left side. This is also why left handed women were considered witches.

Its supposed to bring bad luck. The superstition goes back to Roman times.

In heraldry the left side of the shield is known as the dexter or sinister side. This could be where there belief came from.

if the bed is near to the wall and it;s the left side then that's the wrong side of the bed, if the situation is reversed then the right side is the wrong side as getting out is difficult

The wrong side is usually the one where you trip over your dumbells and split your nose on the wall.
