how much do you wanna survive? odds are, you aren't going to be able to fish with your hands or hunt any game with no riffle/bow and arrow. so, if someone I was stranded with died, heckles yea I'd eat them. I wanna live, I am NOT going to die on that frickin' island. However, I would not eat them if they died from some kind of poisoning! that wouldn't help me survive, but if they just died of starvation; yes, I would eat 'em.

Yes because you won't be eating your spouse he or she is dead, the essence of that person has gone and all that is left behind is meat and meat eventually rots away and if it is matter of survival then yes i would eat my spouse.
