Yes - a lot of them are.
So are Gray Nicholls and Puma bats
Almost all Slazenger bats are Indian.
I think Kookaburra bats are made by the Indian company Sanspareils Greenlands (www.sgcricket.com)
Kookaburra's most expensive bats are Australian made. Like Ponting's Kahuna Warrior. But they have another Kahuna warrior slightly cheaper because it's Indian made.
I'm Indian (living in Oz), so I buy my bats in India. Bats made for sale in India are quite different from Indian bats made for sale in Australia.
All other cricket equipment, except Kookaburra balls and Albion helmets are made in India.
The balls used in AFL are also Indian made. Can't trust the Chinese to produce high quality sporting goods!
I NEVER SAID "INDIAN MADE BATS HAVING COMPROMISE IN QUALITY". 1st of all, my English is not that lousy. 2ndly, I completely disagree with that. Aussie made bats are just more expensive cuz labour is more expensive here, and the companies expect ppl's Ausie pride to egg them on to pay more for 'Proudly made in Australia' bats - which I never found to my liking. Too chunky, thin edges, flat faces. Not for me. Give me and SG or an SS anyday!
