You can give your rabbits grass, though you should only give them a little bit at first, then wait 24 hours before giving them any more grass - to make sure they don't develop diarrhoea from it.
However, you should ALSO give your rabbits hay - all rabbits NEED hay for fibre for their complex stomach digestion (rabbits have the longest digestive system of any mammal!), and if they don't get hay, they can develop 'gastric stasis', a slowing of their digestive system, which can lead to constipation and death. Have a read of these articles which explain in more detail -

You can definatly give your rabbit grass instead of hay! Rabbits eat grass! I have a rabbit too and his favorite food is grass and it is very healthy too!

I had a rabbit and never gave it either one. His cage that he used to do his mess in was padded with cedar chips, and he ate rabbit food pellets and vegetables. My vet (yes he went to the vet, had to get him fixed due to his sex drive) said that he was alot more healthy then alot of rabbits being cared for in a home. He was also an out of cage pet by the way, he didn't sleep in the cage it was almost like a litter pan to him. I would highly suggest you try to do this, it was wonderful.

if it hasn't been sprayed. And if it's totally dry or fresh. The in between wilted stage can cause digestive upset. There isn't a lot of nutrition but if you're feeding a good pellet it's a source of fiber which is needed. They also LOVE dandelions, berry bushes, fruit tree branches etc - make SURE they haven't been sprayed with anything.

well buy packaged hay such as Kaytee.
Grass can have fleas too plus other things. Also hay can have more vitamins needed

Not as much nutrients in plain grass. If you have only a few, your local pet store should have special rabbit food.

I don't see a problem as long as you meet all his nutritional needs. When I had a rabbit, I used to go to the produce people at my grocery store and ask for extra greens. My rabbit(Spaetzle) loved it

Yes you can,but small amounts to start,or they will get sick, gradually increase, and then cut out the hay.
