Because as neanderthals they need to reassure themselves of their manhood. It is a confidence thing. And coming from Australia where a lot of Aussie Neanderthals actually do this a lot more, I should know. Have you ever been talking to a guy, even one you may not know, could be the tradesman (tradesmen do it a lot) or the postman or the shopkeeper, they actually still look you in the eye whilst their hand goes down there to have a good scratch or to reposition their old fella and dusty taters (balls).
This is typical of the species and does not cause them embarressment. They do it without thinking as they do most things without thinking.

Because balls get sweaty. It itches like ****. Believe me, I know. When the balls itch, men scratch them.

My hubby said, b/c they itch! Why else do you scratch anything!
Wife's pov(point of view) I think the reason a guy holds himself and even touches anything else down there is to make sure it's still there or to locate it!!!!!

For all kinds of reasons....Mostly because it feels good
If your hands are cold...then your balls are usually warmer than your hands.....for us canadians anyways.....happy scratching!!

Because that's the only place the blood seems to be flowing to. (Or it's because their balls are dirty or sweaty.) Nobody else in their right mind wants to!

I am not sure the real reason...but i honestly think it is an ego thing...I notice my husbanb tend s to do it when other men are around he threatened by.
