Even though Feminism itself has grown and adapted to include not just women but men as well, it still has the stigma of the "F" word. I am a feminist and I will be the first to say that the feminist movement is not perfect but there are people who look at it with disdain without even looking into it at all. Women have gotten somewhat far and some people think that women have achieved equality so what are feminists bitching about.? Well, not all women and men have achieved equality. There is still racism, classism, homophobia, ageism, ableism...you get the point. Hence why we have political movements like feminism and womanism (founded by Alice Walker). You may not agree with me. Who wants to start?

As a woman I can make my own way with the current laws.
I do not need nor want special treatment. My skills & education speak for themselves.

I don't want to argue with you honey! I just have to say everyone is different. I think you should take it up with God if you want us to all be the same. I understand you mean as far as rights, but I think the US has done pretty well with all of the rights that everyone has. The bottom line is that we are not all created equal. You may be stronger than me, I may be smarter than that guy over there. I was a little more feministic when I was younger. Let a few men show you what it is to be a real gentleman, and you'll start to act more like a lady! Good luck to you, and may God bless you.

Feminism went too far. When 5 year old boys are suspended from school for snapping a girls waste band, feminism went too far. Now boys are taught to be like girls instead of boys! Women now cheat on their husbands as much as men cheat on their wives. feminism did nothing but confuse women into thinking they don't need men. Instead they raise families alone, and the father takes all the blame! Racism, classism, homophobia being solved by feminist!?!?!? Alice Walker LMAO! Read Aristophanes Greek play Lysistrata. These things have been going on for thousands of years!

i think as long as you are asking for equal treatment you should be able to come to a reasonable solution like equal pay .now i can not run my business with you gone on maternity leave and it would be wrong to have some one come in for several months and not keep the job so if you train the replacement pay there wage and return to work it would be fine with me.the whole time i would be willing to continue your salary.its your job and up to you if i have to make choices and become involved i will need to pay all women less as this posses an ongoing problem i do not have with male employees.
so accept that by being female you are treated like anyone else and if you leave the job you take your chances.NO job protection should be offered to anyone except military personel and uncle sam should send me a replacement.

If you're addressing problems unrelated to unfair treatment toward women, then it's NOT feminism anymore! You can't just go around calling things whatever you want...
