Why don't more people go vote more often?

I have been going and voting for a couple days now. There are some un-resolved answers because no one wants to vote. Some has been there for a while. Is it because you only get 1 point each vote?. Well those 1 pointers add up. And I was wondering why people don't vote more often.

When i can't answer anymore questions i go vote i don't know why no other people do it. Are we the only people out there?
