Start - Control panel - Performance & Maintainence - System
The general tab should give you the processor speed and ram

Start - All programs - accessories - windows explorer
Right click you C: drive and select properties - this will tell you the used and available space.

Mine did the same thing. Try going to that same window (View system information under My Computer), clicking on some other tab (such as Hardware), and then clicking back on General. That's what I had to do to get the MHz value. If that doesn't work, poke around some and see if that does it.

If you can't see it when you right-click on my computer, then go to Start and click Run. Type in dxdiag and your processor speed will be on the front page.

Open the run command in the start menu and type in this: dxdiag

You can see a bunch of information there.

hit Windows key & Pause/Break key at the same time. This brings up the system properties page. That tells you about your system.

is it possible that your computer is in GHz and that is what it shows.? My comp is 2.4 Ghz, hopefully you have a decent computer and it shows it in Ghz!

There could be some system files that keep track of the computer CPU speed. You can try looking into these files:

C:\CONFIG.SYS
%WINDIR%\WIN.INI
%WINDIR%\SYSTEM.INI

%windir% is the windows directory on your local hard drive

Good luck

you could always download a program called "cpuz" or cpuid" tells you everything about your computer.
