I really don't think so. That will never get your relationship back. Your hurting and I bet he really is hurting. Unless he did something to you or your mother that caused him to go to jail. Than that is another story, that I really do not know about. But to hold a grudge on your dad is rough on him. He is all ready in jail, lost his wife... should he loose his daughter? I am sure he truly loves you, as you do him. Give him another chance.

Getting angry at people shows a weakness in yourself. Get over it and get on with your life. If you choose to have a relationship with him in the future, so be it. If you choose not to, that is your choice. Do not feel guilty for your feelings and whatever your choice is.
We all make decisions for the course our life will take, sometimes we make what seems like a bad choice. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it does alter the course of your life. Maybe your father going to jail will make you a better person., or change your life in a positive way.
I just think getting angry at someone for a choice they made for their own behalf is silly. Use it to make yourself a better person.

It was probably something he did to deal with your mom's death that sent him to jail. It may not have been the appropriate response to her death, but he probably didn't know what to do. It may not seem connected, but it probably was. He made a mistake, don't hate him for that, try to help him, by showing him you still care about him.
