" I couldnt believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phonominal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place.

The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important! If you can read this respond it."

So I guess I can read it. :)

I tnhik I wulod dgsraeie sncie trehe are a pmneohaenl pditeultne of eergugios wdors wchih are not erlesfsoftly rloebzigcane.

It only works if you can reasonably (and subconsciously) predict what the words are by the context. In other words, you have to guess correctly. It has nothing to do with the way our "mind" reads the word.
No, I can't read your question, but I can guess what it says.

Neat! So why the heck is everyone still using spell check?Huh? Kind of a waste of time! Unless you're a child who hasn't memorized the appearance of words. Only works if you don't have a very large vocabulary...otherwise there would be problems...~smiles

Yes, You should only pay attention to the first and last letter of each word and you'll be reading any phrase with no problem at all.

Wow, that is funny. I never thought of that and I read the whole thing fine. However, even though this is true, I think your english teachers wouldn't like it.
