Leogirl0804: how can you have freedom of religion and God be a part of the system? What about Allah... do you want him to be part of the system too? If it's freedom of religion and "God" is part of the system, you can't keep another person's god out...
Then if you allow them all... then you have to have 18 different prayers, one for each god, before every graduation, city council meeting and in every classroom.
It's just efficient... so you keep them all out of government... you can't just pick and choose...
NOBODY is going into any Church telling people what they can and can not believe... we're just saying keep it in your house, church or head.. heck you can even talk about it, if you're not using government money or disrupting someone else to do it...

That is not what they are saying. They are saying our nations was built on christian beliefs and wish to keep it that way. Our first settlers came here to escape religious persecution and practice the religion of their choice. Not be dictated by the state. THAT is what the separation of church and state means. Not what is happening today by people who want to remove God from our system all together.

BEcause they don't understand american history. They spew some junk about america being founding on christian principles, and freedom from persecution, etc
BUT
since they haven't studied history since 8th grade, they don't realize that it's STATE SPONSORED RELIGION that made the founding fathers flee england in the first place.

thats the belief that it will take for them to accomplish that goal,
so they will beleive whatever it takes to justify it.
