Sooner or later everything will cease to exist. "America" (or, as I think you mean the USA) is no exception.
What will happen? Well, assuming you don't mean the end of the world - the real end, not the end of the world as we know it - then,
I suppose the land mass now designated the USA will simply acquire (a) different name(s).

It is quite probable that one day the country known as the United States of America will one day no longer exsist, like said above great empires such as the Roman Empire collapsed, one of the reason due to the fact that there were too many diffrent types of people with different ideas being ruled from somewhere thousands of miles away. Group feeling is the glue to any country, for example King Alfred the great (English Monarch in the 9th Century AD) got all the Anglo Saxon Kingdoms containing Angles, Jutes, Saxons and Native Britons to unite due to their fear of the Danish vikings and therefore started the creation of the Kingdom of England. Race has nothing to do with it but when you have a country of different people with different ideas and values that conflict with the ones that the country traditionally has, that usually has it can be difficult to generate a group feeling from this.

Yes, I agree with you, because you remember Rome died because this was the time after all the wars were over and all the citzens of Rome got Fat and Lazy and everyone, slaves included where hybnotized by the blood sports.Just imagine, going to those enourmous arenas, people placing bets, seeing the senate people in all their glory, the smell of blood thick in the air, intoxicating them like a drug.So when the wild people outside the gates came crashing in, no one was prepared. The had grown fat and arrogant in their finary, as they were literaly hand fed grapes. They rotted from the inside.so they collapsed.Everything that rome stood for collapsed, because they stopped standing for it.
So does anyone her remember the bill of rights, that america stands for freedom?!Was it all a lie?The promise that all should have a voice, and be heard?? Were we asked about any war? are we told exactly what it is for? You cannot fight terror with terror,as you cannot fight fire with fire. The world would go up in flames. So the world goes up in terror.

History teaches us wonderful things.
Every great empire falls. The Roman, The French, The English, and someday, The American.
And, as the fall of some of these great empires - the invaders from the North with take over for many lost years of chaos....

The USA has already been for sale, piece by piece. Japan, Germany, and the OPEC Nations already own more of the US than we do. If they ever call the note, those in power will be asking us, "Sprechen Sie Deutsches?"
For light reading on the subject, try "The Creature of Jekyll Island" by Edwin Griffin

I know! I agree with you, we're totally going, pardon my French, down the shitter and it makes me want to cry, because until America started to see the effects of Bush's (OH! I LOATH THAT MAN! Though Will Ferrel did do a helarious job of impersonating him on SNL, because of that Bush is even more of my favorite person to make fun of while I impersonate them) I always thought I wasn't patriotic, but now that everything is getting bad and everyone hates us because of how awful we are to the poor people in Iraq (I totally supported the war at first, we couldn't have ignored the situation from all those poor innocent people having died on 9/11, we needed to eliminate the threat and retreat and get the boys home) for something thats going to ruin our planet in the end anyway. Our innisial intent was good, but now, Bush is doing exactly what daddy wants (Daddy being the amercan way of refering to George Bush Senior because bush relies on his daddy for everything) and what he DID in the Gulf War, but now its casualty rate and time span is multiplied ten fold! When I look at pictures from wars in the past in history books i kinda get a proud feeling, the americans in the trenchs look brave and heroic, but when I look at the pictures of the war in iraq, it looks like WE'RE the terrorists and it just makes me sick. ug! Whats happening to us? Hopefully Bush won't distroy it all beyond repair by the next election so the next president (if democracy is even applied this time, since both years Bush's oppnents officially won and then it was "oh... uh... there was some trouble with the poles and florida has suddenly gone red, bush wins! Now wheres my money?", if Daddy dosnt weasle himself in here some how this time to get one of his cronies in the hot seat) can clean things up and save us, because seriously, we are in trouble.
