I was just wondering coz here in SA we call it soccer, but 90% of people call it football...

I think the correct term is Football... because if you see any game of American football, that sports don't have so much use of the "foot"...
But, if you see a Football Soccer game, you really see the answer, that sport it's all "Foot"....
have more logic to the world call this sport "Football" and not Soccer, but soccer sounds good too...

Soccer, since it doesn't confuse it with the best sport in the US.
Too bad Caps Lock Boy above didn't read that you live in South Africa where it is also called soccer. But why let that get in the way of him slamming the US?

I am British, and I always call it 'football', but if I'm answering a question to an American, I always say 'association football'.

Well im from Endland and they call it football and my family does too..but im growing up here in florida and now a ahev to say soccer or every1 will think that i mean american football.
