Go for the lower paying job you will like. I just gave up a $100k yr job that I hated and took me away from my family and now will be looking at getting a $35 to $40k job that I enjoy. Believe me, it's worth it....

100% stick with the higher paying job. With the way the economy is these days, its no question about it. Whatever is bothering you at work shouldnt be something to make you go for something that pays you even less. Go to work, do your job. Whichever people give you a hard time, just ignore them, or deal with them quickly then continue with your work. At the end of the day you might have put up with more Bulls*** but your check will reward you for that. Think about it

Low paying job you love because a job you can't stand you can never do well and sooner or later you will end up leaving it.

You know, the thing is, work isn't everything. You are not going to spend all of your life at work. I think that whichever job makes you and those you care for feel best is the job you should take.

Low paying job you love. Life is too short to be doing something you hate. Eventualy your mind would rebel and you would become grossly unhappy.

I like being able to vacation wherever I like with my family. Heck I like just being able to support my family. If I just played on the drum all day (what I love to do) - I wouldn't be able to half the stuff I can do. I heard one of my old drum teachers got sick and they had to take up a collection just to get his medical bills paid. Sure hope he loved what he was doing.

It depends on if you are meeting your basic needs or not. If you cannot afford groceries or electricity, do the job you hate.

Think about it in the long term...if you must work, as most of us do, would you rather be able to say "I like my work", or would you prefer to hate life because you dis-like what your "work" is?
