I like indie music, although I'm leaning a bit more towards indie folk/pop more than indie rock. I also listen to alternative, of course, and sometimes punk rock and general rock. Occasionally I'll venture into country music (although nothing... twangy) and pop but never really the "popular" stuff. I like songs that have more than just the usual "I love you and I can't live without you!/You cheated on me, therefore you deserve to be insulted in a song" themes. Of course I still rock out to the Spice Girls sometimes but that has more to do with nostalgia than with me liking the music.
