how many issues can Republicans talk about and yet do nothing about?

1. Gay Marriage
2. Immigration
3. Abortion
4. Gas prices

I've seen many Republicans shake their fingers at these issues, but when it comes to doing something... all of a sudden, nothing happens?

If I voted for them on any of these issues I would be pissed... they have a majority and it's not like the dems have filibustered any of it...

THIS just came out:

Senate panel releases report on Abramoff
By PETE YOST, Associated Press
Fri Jun 23, 4:22 AM ET

WASHINGTON - In Jack Abramoff's world, prominent Washington tax-cut advocate Grover Norquist was a godsend.

Moving money from a casino-operating Indian tribe to Ralph Reed, the Christian Coalition founder (OOPS) and professed gambling opponent, was a problem. Lobbyist Abramoff turned to his longtime friend Norquist, apparently to provide a buffer for Reed.

The result, according to evidence gathered by the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, was that Norquist's Americans for Tax Relief became a conduit for more than a million dollars from the Mississippi Choctaw to Reed's operation, while Norquist, a close White House ally, took a cut.

Not from around here I am guessing. President Bush knew most of the Republicans in Congress would not back him on the immigration bill. They voted the way that the people of their states felt. We have 2 Republican Senators but our state is completely against allowing illegals to stay. Democrats & Republicans stand together against it. Our congressmen all voted against the bill.

They're not cutting and running they're just trying to put the focus on meaningless issues like gay marriage and flag burning and away from their corruption and failed Iraq policy.
They never expected to do anything about immigration, anyway. Get ready for a bunch of sensationalist TV ads misrepresenting their opponents on that issue.

Repuglicans ( I thought that is how you spell evil doers) invented the cut and run. During the Nixon administration. So what is so new about that. It is funny to me that they had time to give themselves a not needed nor deserved raise but not raise minimum wage, the repuglicans are due for a long fall.

LMAO.

If this was true republican candidates wouldn't be using their position on immigration to win (and they do win unlike democrats) elections.

Are you being funny or just plain stupid that you don't know how to spell Republican? Or maybe just trying to be insulting.
