Seriously...I would love to hear a response from someone who has been blind since birth.

And no stupid remarks either...I am aware that they cannot "see" this post, but there are programs that enable the blind to use a computer.

I can't see what you're getting at here.

Depends on their condition. Some people are blind from birth, others at a later point in their lives, still others have partial blindness. I expect their dreams to be affected by all these contexts.
It's interesting to note that people blind from birth and have never received visual stimuli have compensated by shifting cognitive capacity to other modalities like: touch, taste, smell and mental mapping.
So, to answer your question: It would depend on what modalities they rely on to interact with the world.

This is one of the best question ever!

Funny, but i don't think even 100% born blind person can answer that one. It would be quite difficult to explain.

It's a mystery.

i used to work with blind peolpe and i would think that they dream as you and me but maybe more vivid because they dream of what we tell them about not what is being seen and what they think things would look like if they could see.

You can't dream about something you don't know, so to dream about a visual sensation you would have to have experienced one.

I bet they have dreams like we do. Experiences that seem like an ordinary day, then suddenly things kinda get weird.
