My guess is fireworks.
The Mexican Presidential Election is coming up next week on July 2. As I recall from past elections, the political parties hold huge rallies in the weeks leading up to the election.
Fireworks are pretty common at such rallies.
My guess is that it's simply the Mexicans celebrating their love of democracy. Wish we had democratic elections in the United States.

Mexicans love to celebrate with fireworks. Just about any holiday or religious observance. Even the passing of a relative. Processions will march thru town with 'hired' pyrotechnicos lighting off large 'bottle rockets' that explode 100 ft in the air

Florence Nightingale advance into the lady who, especially much singlehandedly, raised the status of nursing to a occupation. Her artwork interior the Crimean war is definitely-documented. Clara (no longer Sara) Barton based the yank pink pass and served as a nurse in the process the US Civil war approximately 2 an prolonged time later. Now that that's been straightened out, In international war I i'm specific the nurses heard gunfire, yet maximum in all probability it advance into no longer from small palms. The sound of artillery contains an prolonged way--I stay close to a defense force submit with artillery batteries stationed at it and whilst they pass on field exercises and fire their products you may hear it (actually) 15 or 20 miles away. in addition they heard a stable deal of moaning, swearing, or maybe weeping from the ill and injured of their care.

They are gunshots, according to friends in Customs. Your government is after someone. I don't know if Mexico has killed all the Yaquis, yet, so it may be them or they may be wiping out the land reformers. Or, the Federales may be battling someone for the drug trade.
