We know each other more than 5 years and I am always "very friendly" with him (i hag him, kiss him etc) and I don't want him to think that I am in love with him.

One time on jenny jones, this man told his friend that he was gay and that he was in love with him, and that same night he killed his friend b/c of this. do it with caution. good luck!

If he has known you for that long and you hug and kiss, I'm sure he knows you are gay already. He may be too, sure seems that way to me. But just let him know, that you just like him in a good friend way and not as a lover.

Unless your Bi after 5 years he most likely knows your Gay.
To keep your *** from getting kicked. Test the waters first - it could be very tramatic for him if he's blind to it and more Hetero than you know.

Tell him "I'm gay, but I'm not in love with you". I think he'll understand just fine. If he decides not to be friends with you anymore, than he wasn't a great friend in the first place.

hugs and kisses? you have a crush. and you're friend doesn't mind?? he's probably bi at least. if you're "bestfriends" he knows your gay. he probably never saw any reason to bring it up in conversation because it wasn't an "issue". in 5 years, you've never dated anyone? never hooked-up with anyone? i'm sure he knows.

Just say the truth, and explain who you are.
Then tell him that you hope you have never made him uncomfortable in any way, that your love for him is not expecting him to be gay too,, its just love.
