Pain in early pregnancy is normal because your body is going through changes and the white lumps if they look like zits they are just your breast preparing itself to develop milk but I am no doctor. The best pregnancy book ever made and every book store has is is called What to expect when your expecting. I don't know who it is by but if you go into any book store they will know what it is. This books gives you blow from blow every detail about pregnancy that you will ever want to know. Someone gave me the book my first pregnancy and it helped me so much.

No, leg and ankle pains in early pregnancy are not normal. Nothing about pregnancy in and of itself would cause this. Now, if you are having severe morning sickness and have gotten dehydrated, that could be a cause. I would let your doctor or midwife know what is going on. As for the lumps on your breasts, if these are just small, non-inflamed looking bumps, they are probably just the normal glands that surround the nipple area, which enlarge and become noticeable usually by the second month of pregnancy.

First of all, report Marcus, the user posted above.

Second of all. Those bumps could be very normal, but then again ask your doctor. It's just a quick phone call. Leg and ankle pain could also be very normal, that is to say, it's not unheard of in early pregnancy.
Also, remember your eating habits need to change now that your pregnant. That means prenatal vitamins also.
My wife got the bumps too, and the ankle pain. But ask a doc.

it's normal to have leg and ankle pain especially if you're standing a lot, your body is trying to make more fluids and blood for the baby and sadly it kind of hurts.. Wait till the third trimester, you'll really feel it then.

And as for the white lumps around the nipple area, according to my breastfeeding class those white bumps excrete a type of antibiotic for the baby when he/she starts to breastfeed so that they don't suck on a bunch of germs along with the milk... Ask your Dr. though, just so you'll feel better about it..

I don't know about early pregnancy, but I had horrible charlie horses in both legs in late pregnancy, all the time.

The lumps are glands, that are kicking into gear, secreting a natural antibiotic fluid. If you use soap on them, you could dry them out, which can be painful and cause them to crack.

Lots of odd things can be normal in pregnancy because your body is being flooded with a whole load of different hormones.
If you are putting on weight you might get aches and pains in your legs. Often joints feel a bit 'looser' because your ligaments soften when you are pregnant.
If you are worried about anything talk to your midwife - they are usually a brilliant source of information and support, and work with pregnant women all day long, so they know what comes with the 'normal' range. Best of luck.

how early. sometimes depending on how big you have got. just like back pains. And the breast lumps sometimes is from your breast preparing for when baby comes. but if you think is not right go see your doctor to make sure is not something else

Pain of any kind atany time of life is the sign something isn't right. More likely than not it is simple water retention.Go get it checked.

As for the nipples, perhaps it is a yeast infection (common). Again, ask your doctor.
