You're mistaken about the prostate -- regular ejaculation, especially in the teens and twenties, has been found to help prevent prostate cancer later in life.
As for whether or not your son masturbates, there's a sure-fire way to tell:
If he has hands, he masturbates.
(But he's reducing his risk of prostate cancer every time!)

If he is 13 and he is then he is normal and if your curious and your his Mother then your strange and if your his Father your even more strange. Don't confront him on it, it could cause emotional damage for life. That is a personal matter that is no ones business except his own. He is your son not your property.

He probably does. It's none of your business. But I'm sure that it doesn't damage anything internally lol. You have nothing to be worried about. In fact, if he didn't then you WOULD have something to be worried about because that wouldn't be normal. Good luck, and try not to be too nosy.

Why would you want to know that? That's kind of private for a 13 yr old boy and it's just part of getting curious about himself. It's not bad for him to do that. If it's a parental talk sort of thing then his dad should talk to him about it and make him feel comfortable about it.

It's prefectly healthy but not really any of your business. For your son's sake as well as for his future lovers' sakes, I hope he does or at least will eventually. If he doesn't, it's probably because you instilled in him that there was something wrong with it and that is not the kind of attitude that he needs.
