I found out that I am pregnant at 8.5 weeks. At about 9.5 weeks i had horrible lower stomach pains followed by vomitting and feeling really sick. For three days I was cold and kept shaking a lot. I had no bleeding. Could i have had a miscarriage?

Hi there,
Sounds more like you had a stomach bug than a miscarriage but you should definitely call your doctor so they can do a sonogram and check the baby's heartbeat. Not all miscarriages cause bleeding and not all bleeding means a miscarriage.
A fever in the first trimester is generally not a great think for the baby so I would check with your doctor ASAP - but chances are it was just a stomach bug. Please follow up and let me know.
Good luck.

if u have not had any bleeding more than likely you have not miscarried, but the lower abdominal pain vomiting and cold shakes do warrent going to the neares it ED or to your doctors office as soon as possible. there are a number of things that could be the cause of these symptoms.

I also had a miscarriage, but I did not have any pain at all. I did have a huge blood clot that followed several days of spotting. You should definitley go to the doctor.

You may have had a miscarriage but it seems odd that you are not bleeding. If something has happened to you or your child you need to find out immediately. When these symptoms first occurred you should have gone to the emergency room, so please don't wait to see a doctor.

you know by going to the Dr. or ER and having an ultrasound. No one on the internet can tell you if you baby is ok or not- that takes a real live person that can physically check you and your baby over. So go already!

If you feel unsure about your health or the health of your child, I recommend that you see a physician immediately. Better be safe than sorry.
