Alex was my friend since 1st grade. I lived across the street from
him and we always played together whenever we could. Even when I moved we at least played with each other once a week. Now Alex cracks retarted knock-knock jokes, says I'm fat, destroys
EVERYTHING, and avoids me whenever I ask if he can come over. If he starts calling me fat or something, I tell him to shut up and he goes crying to his mom. She calls MY mom and tells her I'm mis-behaving! Also, whenever I'm sad or mad about something, he makes it worse! I have other friends, and play with them now. Alex and I were best friends, now were enemies! What should I do?! I want to just tell him we aren't friends anymore, but I've been friends with him for too long. Should I leave him alone or
try to fix our friendship?

Sadly, people grow apart sometimes as they grow up. It sounds like Alex is nothing but trouble these days. I'd say just avoid him and see if he matures at all over the next few years.
You don't need to make any formal declaration that the friendship is over. Just ignore him as much as possible, and, when you have to be near him, be civil, but don't make any effort to be his best friend again.

Time changes and so do people. You don't have to dump Alex, but the child is being mean spirited when you're being called fat. Why would you want a friend like that, anyhow? Just distance yourself and/or cut down on the time spent with that person. You do have other friends. Gaining and losing friends is all part of life.

I'd leave him alone and hang out with your other friends. If his behavoir annoys you and upsets you there's no point in being friends with him, you're a lot better off without him! Maybe when he gains some maturity you can be friends again, but right now....not so much!

maybe he has a crush on you now and doesn't know what to do. Also he could just be growing up, find new friends and let him be, and if he comes back to you it was meant to be. As you grow older you will discover that every one grows and some do drift apart. It's all part of life.

Just leave him alone and hang out with your other friends. That happens. You have different interests and sometimes develop different levels of maturity. If you don't enjoy being his friend anymore, don't. You don't have to officially break it off, or anything. You could just stop going over to his house and don't invite him over anymore.

Stick with your other friends, it seems you and alex have grown apart, so move on and may be some day he will miss you and learn to appreciate your friendship.

tell him how you feel ! maybe it will change his attitude if hes still rude to you then avoid him and maybe he realize when he doesnt see you anymore hell come back around and start being nice to you !! guys kinda go through this phase where there rude and they dont care whos feelings they hurt !just keep your head up and hang out with other friends !less stress and drama.

He sounds like a jerk to me. I'd just leave him be. He's not very nice, and sometimes nice guy friends can turn mean as they become older. I'm afraid it might be time to find nicer friends.
