As I see it you have three choices:
1) Be a better professor than all the others in your country.
2) Stay at university and qualify in a second field, that way you'll have more scope for finding work.
3) Move to a different country where professors are more in demand.
Personally I'd choose number 3 cos then you get to see the world, and you're probably clever enough to learn another language if you want to :-)

Since you can obviously speak fluent English, I would try applying for a green card or visa to go teach in another country. China, India, and the United States (plus several Western European countries) often have job openings for professors, especially those who teach the hard sciences.

Good luck :)

Open a tutoring center for high school students. Of course, in that case, you need to know the syllabus at that level very well. This job may not really need your level of knowledge, but your current title can give people a feeling that you're really good in your area. And tutoring center in Hong Kong (where I'm from) can make a lot of money. Those tutors are as famous as superstars. The other day, a newspaper said that one tutor earned US$200,000/month.
