Why are girls into anniversaries and holidays and birthdays stuff like that than guys, like y dont guys care about birthdays and valentines day and wedding anniversaries at all? would a guy think it was romantifc for his girlriend to give him a big present on his birthday/ take him out to dinner?

The big difference between the way women and men think is, Women think through their hearts, where men don't. Most men don't have a clue about how women think and because women don't explain it to them so they can understand, men go through life totally befuddled as to what they've done wrong now. All these special dates mean something to men too. They just think of them differently. They are special moments in the past. They are special memories. Though he may not even remember the exact date because there purpose has been served. Women need to explain these things. If her man still doesn't Care then he doesn't care much about her.

Girls and women appreciate the value of social interaction more than men.
Have you noticed how in a couple it's always the woman who remembers all the birthdays (even fir the bloke's family) and makes sure cards are sent etc?

Milestones and mushy stuff tends to be more important to girls. I myself am more like a guy on those subjects. I couldn't care less about Valentine's Day.

girls/women are sentimental, emotional creatures. all of these special days have meaning and memories for them. A wise man realizes that and makes a point to remember them, thus his life is a whole lot smoother and better.
