Flat coke is great for helping with a poorly tummy. Put a teaspoon of sugar in it to make it flat but make sure that it's in a large container as it will froth up loads.

Guinness is also good but it isn't to everyone's taste! (and it can make your poos black!)

I think it is best to avoid eating as that just gives the bugs something else to work on. Take some rehydration medication (a powder you mix with water) or water with a pinch of salt and sugar in it. Drink water to aid rehydration.
You can use drugs to stop the diarrhoea but this may mean the bug isn't removed as quickly. Chemist can advise on all of this.

try a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar in some warmth water, yet no longer too a lot, in order that that you'll somewhat flavor it. thankfully, this difficulty might want to bypass rather right away, so in the journey that they have got not been ill for more effective than some hours, they should be ok until eventually you'll get to the pharmacy. Do you've any Gravol or Dramamine that you promises them in small parts to help alleviate their nausea?

He should try to plug himself up a bit with carbohydrates - bread, rice, pasta. And he should avoid all dairy products until the diarrhoea has settled down.

In terms of drinking, avoid coffee because that can have a laxative effect. Just keep drinking plenty of water. Dioralyte sachets added to the water can help if the diarrhoea is severe.

When having stomach disorders, usually the BRAT diet is ideal - Bananas, Rice, Applesacue, Toast .... This is a low residue and mild diet designed to allow the stomach and lower GI system to rest. You have to make sure he is taking in enough fluids - easy to dehydrate during prolonged diarrhea......

Make sure he drinks water. You would be suprised at how fast it takes someone to become dehidrated with the "runny bum".

i think your dad needs to eat a healthy balanced diet with enough fluid intake. probably his system suffered due to lack of some nutrient that protects the stomach.he needs to watch what he eats and drinks and also he needs to wash his hands more frequently than he is currently doing.
