Yes it's okay, they would go under the vest but this is not the season to be that over dressed, if you need to dress like that, skip the vest and go with a Baby Blue and Tan suit from Stacy Adams, that have all the accessories at the store so i'll be Tan pants with a blue shirt and tan Suspenders and Tan and Blue Shoes, if thats not your color they have a whole line of spring clothes, Like the Linen suits when are cool and Comfortable.

I don't think it would look good with a vest. I like the suspender look, but I also like vests.
