What college majors do you think would help me if I want to design basketball shoes for a living (ex. Nike)?

Industrial Design. I have a family member who majored in that and one of the school projects was to design new and innovative shoes. You need somewhat of an artistic and technical type background. Good luck.

Industry or design classes would help. Possibly an industrial design career outlook would be good.

Design, anything that involves sewing, fabric, etc, stuff like that
