I would choose to die... I've had loved ones die.. and I've watched them die.. and I don't want to see it again... if given the choice.. I would have to say that I would rather die rather than watching another loved one die. Fortunately, I don't have to make the choice... it's made for me/us

i think i would say watching your loved one die, because you have to sit there and watch them die and then you have to live the rest of your life living with the fact that you could have saved your loved one from dying and instead you chose to sit and watch them die.

I think it would be much worse to see a loved one die. My brother died a few years ago and I wish it could have been me instead of him. I miss him so much!

Well, if you're asking which is worse, then watching is worse because you can't watch yourself die and watching someone else die is more painful.
