Me personally, no I don't. Music is art, and some people like all different kinds. I do believe that the more genres you like, the more open minded you are.

I am not giving anyone more credit than others. I just love how people stereotype by preference of music. I like Marilyn Manson, but that doesn't mean I am going to go out and shoot someone, like some people believe liking such music leads to.

No way in my opinion, but some people seem to think they can. Since I listen to a little bit of everything from j-rock to metal to pop, it's kinda hard to tell what I'm like based on my music choices.

No.

I think you can tell a lot about a person's musical taste by what music they listen to.

But I don't think this (necessarily) reflects on their faith, politics, intellect, sense of humor, morals or ethics. I think that most people are much more complicated than you're giving them credit for.

sure. if they listen to old classical jazz music means have alot of love. Let's see if it's hip pop , R&b a somewhat bad person.
if it's metallic or rockn' roll a person is punk. it's just style with unique personality. I think so.

...or vice versa.

Most of the time, but I have been surprised on a few occasions.

I once met this guy that dressed all grungy and wore like Nirvana or Pearl Jam shirts with big baggy pants, but when he jammed to music he was listening to Jay-Z, Boyz II Men, Usher, Mariah Carey...it was really weird!

yeah of cource because of our prejudices and stereotypes like we usually believe that people who are listeniing to classical music are boring but we never consider they may have a very colorful personality, or we most of the time think that a person who are rapping are dirty but that is not totally true !!!!!

Yes because if you listen to rock music you are usually on the wild and if you listen to hip hop you are hard and from the hood
