I have quite a busy life... And a very fulfilling one.
Course, I'm not a psychic or a Tarot reader, thank goodness, or I probably wouldn't have time for anything.
I also know quite a few handsome Pagan gentlemen.
Women do outnumber men in the Pagan faith, however, because it is a very woman-empowering belief system. The very macho men may be threatened by it. Most Pagan men aren't really manly-macho and are often more sensitive, and thus get laid more, even if they do happen to be less good-looking, because they piss off the women less than the average Joe.

I don't know what pagans you hang with but the coven I am a part of has some really good looking guys and the ratio of men to women is 1 to 1.
However the reason could be that since Wicca and other pagan traditions are based on the feminine divine some guys are not secure enough in their masculinity. Most of the pagan paths deals with the duality of nature the femal/male energies. It is a balanced practice.
Yes we do have a life and jobs, some are professional and some are even famous celebs in Hollywood. I hate to say it but we tend to have more of a life that the fundies since they devote their time to try to convert or belittle anyone of a different faith. That is what I call having no life.

That's not a generalization at ALL.
I'm guessing if you're in grade or high school (the phrase butt ugly doesn't come across much in polite conversation after age 20), that this has been your experience. I personally knew a gorgeous coven of witches at my high school. Dated two of them. That didn't work well - I'm Catholic.
That's sort of the point, I guess - people who are considered unattractive are sort of shoved off to the side, especially in school. They find friends in other places than the teams, the football field, the cheerleading squad and student government.
I learned Tarot when I was a kid and used to do readings in college to meet girls. I'd tell them it was a joke, but they started believing me, so I stopped. I've always known it was bunk, just a game that is easily played on those who willingly suspend disbelief.
Anyway, maybe go and talk to one of these people. They might be pretty cool.

I'm confused...are you saying that all pagans are ugly? And what does looks have to do with having a life? Are all Christians pretty? I know for a fact that is not true.
And you want to talk about a person's life revolving around their religion? Let's talk about christian youth groups that get together twice a week, the christian summer camps, the summer bible classes that churches offer, etc. Have you ever seen pagan gatherings offered in such public and massed produced way?
Think about what you ask before you make a fool of yourself. Oh sorry, too late.

I never realized we had this problem. After all, if you don't conform to "madison avenue" views of beauty you are obviously a dense individual.
You are grouping people illogically. All pagans are not psychics/tarot card readers and I would add that all psychic/tarot card readers are not pagans. However, to prove this you need to define your terms a little more extensively.
A pagan to me is someone who does not believe that there is a just and merciful god dispensing justice throughout the world. I stole this from a "Breaker Morant."

I'm a woman, thank you very much. I am also not butt ugly. My husband is also not butt ugly. In fact, I know alot of attractive Wiccans and Pagans. Sgt Dan I met on base in Maryland is a Druid and works with snakes and he's not ugly. Actually I thought he was kinda hot.
I have a life, that's why I am Wiccan. I broke free from the Cowan teachings and discovered my own path.

Neo pagans are mostly girls, hot ones. Blonds, Brunets, and Redheads. As for the guys, they are getting a lot of sex, I mean a LOT (Good sex too), so someone doesn't think that they are ugly.
My wife is a pagan. She's a khemetic. Makes me glad I was raised pagan. I am used to having women all over me. I've tried enough to know that pagans are just better.
Seriosly, once you try a pagan chick you'll never want to go to church again.

That's not v. nice. that said, I actually know more male psychics, tarot readers and the like, and only a few of them are really unattractive...but then a lot of the ones I know were born to carry on bloodlines, names and the like, it's actually a something like a 60-40 male-female ratio that I know. As for modern Paganism, I think girls tend to be attracted to an idea of a female divinity.

I'm sure that's not true in all cases, there is no way that you have seen every psycic/tarot reader in the world, I I do believe that in very very rare cases people can have that ability but very rare

I do tarot when I want, i read my horoscope daily, I'm a girl, I'm not butt ugly and I do have a life. Girls listen to themselves more than guys do. It's how most of us keep from making a fool of ourselves like you just clearly illustrated. thank you.
