Celebrities are people just like you and me. The publicity is good for careers, but it gets pretty annoying not being able to go out in public and just be treated like an average person. They often have to wear disguises to do the simple things that you and I don't think twice about. So spending time on Yahoo question and answers is something they can do indoors, and you never know it. And they sometimes use silly names, like Luther D.

Perhaps celebrities ask questions, hoping they will be able to get the general public to THINK! (which is something we do very little of these days.) They use their celebrity because most people are so celeb struck, they will pay attention to them, perhaps read a question posed by them when they would not read a question posed by somebody in the general public.

Why do YOU waste your time on yahoo answers? Maybe they are bored, maybe it's just their publicist. Maybe they are just people, like you and me. If they want to, then why not? But really, it's usually just a publicist or someone like that.

even if they do answer they are still human and probably get bored or curious just like us maybe they like to relate to real people and see whats going on
