A lot of times I am. So I start telling jokes and make everyone laugh..

There are times I am with many people with me and I feel like the loneliest star in the Universe!
Other times, I am alone, 10,000 miles from home and I feel I am with my beloved people!
Mostly, although I am on my point (which might be distant from all around me) I feel content and I enjoy the moment!
After all, for the same event, other times we are sorry while others we enjoy, thus, I try to enjoy everything and everytime! Mostly a sincere smile gives back happiness!

I felt like that when I was depressed. You may want to talk to your doctor or even a shrink to help you figure out what it is that is making you feel lonely all the time. You could be depressed.

Yes I do! I'm really alone .
Around me there are many people. I'm painter and art teacher (I have five classes with children, seven classes with adults). I have also relatives and friends. I show (exhibit) my work often so there are many people around me (clients, coworkers, gallerists,e.t.c) and I also must go out (to shows, exhibitions or galas) and meet people many times during a week.
But I AM REALLY ALONE and I'm feeling desperate

I've never felt lonely, but I'm a loner by nature and I enjoy it. I've never considered being alone to be a negative thing, but I've heard plenty of people echo your comments.

yes i am a married woman with a child and i take care of the whole household , yet i feel empty within myself and feel lonely. i feel one shud look for happiness and company first within themselves and when they find it they find everything complete and wholesome around them....i have tried and it does require a lot of self motivation and self -respect .Trust me this is so common in women and its not easy on anyone

I was.........then I found "myself".......even then, when I was alone,
(and BTW) I LIVE ALONE.... I wasn't lonely............
now........I've found someone to share my life with, and I'm just excited..........but I HAVE BEEN LONELY EVEN IN A CROWD...
.....and it's a sad life.........

right now im kinda loneley cuz its sumemr time and me and my bf haven't seen each other in over a month, and we're both kinda in loney-missing -each-other states.
