My team (US) disappointed me. Who knows, maybe if they played their best (or even at the level of the match with Italy) they still wouldn't have advanced, but at least I could know they did what they could. Brazil has been sleepwalking, they're asking to be ambushed. The only czech match I saw was against us, they are a great team. I don't know what happened against Ghana. I watched Italy vs. Czech, I think they Italians have a legitimate chance of taking the whole thing.

COTE D'IVOIRE impressed me very much. They played really well. It's too bad they were in a tough group. KOREA is quite impressive.

FRANCE is disappointing.

The referees in KOR vs SUI SUCK!!! Very disappointing!!

these are the teams that impressed me so far:

GHANA obviously, beating world no 2 CZECH REPUBLIC & UNITED STATES on their way in the last 16 showdown with BRAZIL.

ARGENTINA, good skills & play, especially their second goal against SERBIA & MONTENEGRO, scored by Esteban Cambiasso, 25 passes created. probably a meeting with GERMANY in the quarter-final as they got MEXICO in the last 16.

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO, although they are out, they given some nervy moments against ENGLAND & SWEDEN. their goalless draw against SWEDEN was their great moments, credit to the goalkeeper Shaka Hislop who made 12 saves during the game.

COTE D'IVOIRE managed to give a good performance against ARGENTINA & NETHERLANDS & good comeback against SERBIA & MONTENEGRO coming back from 2 goals down to win 3-2.

AUSTRALIA, showing the world that the can compete, unlucky to lose against BRAZIL but managed to come back to earn a draw against CROATIA to secure their ticket in the last 16.

SWITZERLAND, the only team not to concede a goal in the group stage, let us see whenever they can stop UKRAINE led by their talisman Andriy Shevchenko in the last 16.

BRAZIL, finally they have delivered the goods, congratulations to Ronaldo for his performance against JAPAN, thus equalling the overall goal scorer with Gerd Muller with 14 goals.

POLAND, one of the teams expected to go thru from their group, losing the opening match against ECUADOR, since then they have never recovered.

SERBIA & MONTENEGRO, coming to GERMANY with only 1 goal conceded in the qualifiers but going home with 10 goals they let in!!! poor show against ARGENTINA.

UNITED STATES, simply not good enough on the world stage.

all the teams from Asia, JAPAN, IRAN, SAUDI ARABIA & KOREA REPUBLIC, really disappointed but KOREA REPUBLIC really give the world something to cheer, their fanatic fans, among the best in the tournament.

CZECH REPUBLIC, world no 2? well....after their defeat against GHANA & ITALY, it appears that Petr Cech is probably not the best goalkeeper in the world already!!
