No. Better shortstops include Jeter, Tejada, Furcal, Crosby, Guillen, Renteria, Young, Rollins, Lopez and A-Rod. Comparable players include Greene, Hardy, Peralta, and Hanley Ramirez.
He is somewhere in the middle but is very young and will pass many of these in the near future.

Most talented, yes! Still has a couple more years before he fully develops in my opinion, but current performance and future potential built into it, there's no shortstop I'd rather have on my franchise.
