"It is appointed unto man once to die, and after that the judgment." Yeah, the Bible really says that. That's one reason why God gave us consciences. There's an inner voice inside that tells us whether we're doing right or wrong. When we die, we will be held accountable for what we have done while we're here.

Living life is not about selfishly pursuing what YOU want; it's serving God by obeying Him, and working to make the world a better place.

Following your heart's desires only works when your heart is under subjection to God's leading. He's not out to spoil your fun or make your life miserable, He wants to give you abundant life. (Yes, the Bible says that, too!) Living solely for yourself doesn't satisfy in the end. Trust me on this!

No you shouldn't. If you only have one life to live, live a good guilt free one. Why take a chance on ending up in prison for the time you have been given.

Your premise is flawed from the beginning. You have another life and you have this life to prepare for the second one. What you want in this life is fleeting at best, you want it today and tomorrow you are tired of it. This is not the best course for one to pursue,
seeking only to satisfy your desires. That which you desire may be detrimental to your health, both mental and physical, and most assuredly will not prepare you for that second life, which is spiritual.

Well if there is only one life then why would there be good and evil, good or bad. Your going to be held accountable when you die for doing wrong when you knew what was right.

I think you should do what makes you happy, but not what you want to do in the moment and spend the rest of your life regreting it.

Nope - having only one life to live (assuming that's true) doesn't get you any special favors.
