Sometimes dreams do foretell the future. However, when they do, you do not need an interpretation. The message is clear.

A few years ago, I dreamed about an old neighbor. I had moved away at least 8 years prior to having the dream. I had not seen my old neighbor or even had a reason to think of her. In the dream, my neighbor was talking to me, but she was talking about things that happened "when [she] was alive." Even though she was speaking to me, I clearly understood that she was dead. It was one of those rare vivid dreams that you can actually remember details about. The next morning when I got to work, I found out that my old neighbor had been killed in a car wreck the night before.

No interpretation needed.

I think there are dreams and I think there are dreamvisions.

Dreams occur when we are falling into sleep and coming out of sleep. During these times our mind is incredible active and 'inbetween' - not awake and not asleep.

Some dreams can be a movie we just saw or a conversation with a friend, or both mixed-up together.

Some dreams can be indigestion or illness coming-on.

Then there are dreamvisions, or those dreams that are SO convincing that you wake-up expecting what you dreamt. Or, SO convincing that you wake-up super-charged and ready to take-on the world; or sincerely concerned about your well-being or that of another. In short, dreamvisions are as real as when we are awake.

Interpreting dreams and dreamvisions is as simple as looking at them. First, determine which is which. Second, realize that ALL dreams come from WITHIN you, so you alone hold the key to interpretation.

For example, if we both had pet turtles as children, and both had happy experiences with them, then a dream of a turtle would be a fond memory relived. If, however, my turtle made me sick and I had a hospital stay, my turtle dream may be my mind telling me of an impending illness.

Dreams fortell more than the future. Forinstance if you ever dreamed your teeth were falling out, that means you've told a lie or something wasnt true or misled someone. Dreams also relive the past, remember. A good book is Sylvia Brown's Book of Dreams, or go to a book store any book on dreams can help.

They are not always regarding "things to come". Many of them can be resolving issues of the past as well which is every bit AS helpful. Either way though they are simply representations of things. Sorry I'm not able to provide you with specific info/links etc. A good book store or library would be a great place to start though!

I had some moments like living what I dreamed. Once I dreamed that I was in my class English and a girl was writing a long text an the blackboard, then on Monday when I had English I was in the sitting on a desk where I was in my dream and a classmate of mine, a girl, was writing a long text on the blackboard. But the scariest was that in my dream the only thing that I saw on the blackboard was a word that I saw it again in that day when I had English. This was the most weird thing that I lived it.

I totally agree with you. I always look to my dreams for a deeper meaning, unless of course I know they are from the pizza the night before! the best website on the planet is www.ask.com you can type in any question you want and it will search all engines out there and post the answers for you. I suggest you type in dream interpretations and see what happens. Good luck and happy dreamin!

I do believe that dreams can be prophetic, but I believe more that dreams are our brain's way of release and getting rid of all the junk that goes into our minds on a daily basis. Without dreams, the world would really be a terrible place to be, I think. Some people, though, are gifted to be able to distinguish prophecy from junk.

Dreams are your brain's way of dealing with what has happened the previous day. It's part of the assimilation process. Without that, we would never absorb anything and the learning process would be stunted. Plus we would all go nuts. So to answer, as much as it may seem so, dreams don't foresee, but rather look back.
