Here's the correct answer...for starters, don't use peanut butter... and for God's sake don't use acetone; it will ruin your paint-it's a paint removing solvent. I can't believe some of the stupid answers I see.
Take some normal blue Windex window cleaner and SATURATE the spot; let it set for about 5 minutes. Then using a high pressure hose (like the kind they have at self-service car washes), blast it away.
After the car's dry, give it a little polish or cleaner wax just in case the poop's acidic nature has taken away any pre-existing wax you might have previously applied. Buff. And you're done.
Hope this helped.

We deal with this problem daily on Dealership lots.
Get some windshield washer fluid and either spray it on the spot or soak a towel/sponge and lay it on the spot. Allow it to soak for a few minutes to loosen the pile. After a few minutes it should wipe away. If some remains repeat the process.
It never hurts to rub some wax on the spot where the pile was as bird pile, bug pile, etc will actually eat through your car paint in a matter of days due to the acids.
It is always best to remove bird droppings from a car as soon as possible. I actually keep a micro towel and a spray bottle of washer fluid in my truck just for this occasion cause I drive a black car.

"The best way to clean up after a bird is with a good detailing spray and a cotton terry cloth towel. Spray the bird droppings with a few shots of detailing spray and wipe it off with the towel, turning the towel as necessary to keep a clean wipe on the car.
Protect your paint from bird damage by keeping your car waxed. While a standard carnauba wax offers limited protection against a juicy attack, it makes cleanup much easier. Acrylic polymer sealants protect a little better against the harsh acids, but it’s not enough to create a damage-free barrier if the bird poop sits too long. To limit the damage when you get hit, you need to remove the offending slime as quickly as possible. Don’t wait. Get it off of your car."

Put some peanut butter on some bread and put it peanut butter down on the paint. The peanut butter helps to disolve the bird poo. Rub it around and Poof!!! No more bird poo. Now ask me how to get rid of the peanut butter...

Wet a sponge in hot water and detergent, then leave the sponge on the dirty area for a few minutes, then wipe it away. It works for me.

Nail polish remover with Acetone. On with one cloth quickly wipe off with other. Use small amounts or you may take off paint. Use caution!
