the CDL requirements are pretty much the same all over you dont need a CDL but you do need an Air Breaks Endorsment you can get that endorsment on you regular License

im pretty sure that you do i know in MASS where i live you do but you only need CDLclass C with air endorsement if its under 26000 and in the CDL book they do say that it is the same through out the USA so i would just check with the local DMV
