If you want to stay involved in theater and acting after High School then do what you have to do to get in to a good Theater Arts program in college. NYC has some of the best. Julliard, NYU, The Actors Workshop, to name a few.
Also consider Yale in Conn.
If you want to learn not only how to be a great actor but also how to pursue it as a career then getting a degree is the way to go. Getting into a premier program will not only prepare you for the future but it will also allow you to rub elbows with some of the best people in the field. It never, never, never hurts to know people.
Go get em,
If you don't you will have regrets that you didn't do it while you were able.
Just one more thing...Please be careful when you are approached by people who say they are acting scouts or talent agents. There are a lot of people out there that want to take your money or worse. Keep your Parents involved in the process so that you don't get hurt.

Since you are 16 I would suggest that you try something local. You have to start off small. Try to do commercials or something. Search for local jobs in your area on the web. It's not as hard as it seems but you have to be careful. People will take advantage of you. I will be happy to help you for free. Start by going to the search field and entering "acting jobs"....most of the sites will direct you to a site where you can find acting jobs, it will be free to sign up for the site but it will cost to sign up for the job..just play around with it and see what works for you. If you have any questions email me at Keosha.Lipsey1@impactww.com. I am a talent scout but I won't charge you to give you advise. Oh yeah when searching you might want to look for movie extras in addition to commercial. Once you start searching you will probably find what you need to get started.

Think aboutt, being bigger, when you are 18 years old.
Unless you and your family want to move to New York City, or Los Angeles, you may as well stay where you are.
Have you auditioned for the Community Theaters in your area? If not ask one of your parents to find out about the audtions they may offer for someone your age.

Community theater. You work with adults (sorry...but your are 16) who had the same talent but didn't have the drive or guts to "go for it".
Regardless of the phrasing of your question, HOLD YOUR EGO IN CHECK!!! You may actually be the best, as you claim, but your director is GOD in the realm of the play. I am not a director, I am an actor who didn't have the guts (and I was the best).
Good luck to you.

If you are the best (literally) you need to find other places to work. Be become better by working with those better than ourselves.
